It's cathartic...like abhoring Nazism in General but befriending individual Nazis because they treat you well, are gorgeous women, or buy you drinks. Hypocritical? Yes. Unprincipled? perhaps. Carry any weight in the grand scheme of things? Nah....
I respect their ability to be morally bankrupt, how's that? I might even be envious..I have searched and searched myself for the "Off" switch of my conscience, still havent found it...
