This dovetails into something I have learned first hand from talking with people in this industry...health insurance, Just about everyone I have talked to (girls, male performers, directors, etc...) do not have any type of health coverage. WTF?

I know two people who told me stories of illness that resulted in huge fucking medical bills that took them a long time to pay....how many people do not pay their medical bills? its really unbelievable how these young chicks just dive into this work, this life and are oblivious to this aspect of life, then something inevitably happens and they get sick or hurt, and bam, now they are fucking and sucking (after recovery) to pay a hospital in Sherman Oaks the 9,000 bucks they charged for a day in the ER to diagnose a severe case of cramps, or 20,000 for an appendix...or worse. And if they do like their personal nature makes it easy for them and just skip out on the bills and try to dodge, then they end up with ABSOLUTELY fucked credit, no ID cuz they become afraid to renew lest someone find out where they are...and by age 30 the bill has climbed to 40,000 and they are fucked for life and end up fucking for life.
