Ashley Blue to Sign Contract With JM Productions

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Recently-crowned AVN Female Performer of the Year Ashley Blue is on the verge of signing an exclusive performing and directing contract with JM Productions.
The one-year contract calls for Blue to perform in three scenes per month, as well as direct an as-of-yet undetermined number of titles. Blue will still be allowed to do print and some television work. While the papers are yet to be signed, both parties agree that it's a done deal.
"I think it's good," Blue told AVN.com. "I like the fact that they're going to let me direct."
While neither Blue nor representatives of JM Productions were willing to talk financial compensation, both were willing to say that the contract will include a leased car. Wasting no time, Blue was reached via her cell phone as she waited for a credit check at Sherman Oaks BMW. She was hoping to drive home in a black, 2002 BMW 325ci with 28,000 miles, which she had already crowned "the new Girlvert car."
While some might find it ironic that the sassy star of the Girlvert series may be driving a BMW by sundown, she was quick to shatter that argument, saying, "Fuck off, [Charles] Bukowski drove a BMW, and if it's good enough for Buk, it's good enough for Girlvert."
Blue said she is considering blowing up her old car, a white 2001 Toyota Corolla, for a scene in her directorial debut.
"I might try to sell it first," she said, "but I really want to blow shit up. I think it would be cool."
JM owner Jeff Steward was ecstatic about signing the popular starlet.
"She's a good fuckin' whore," Steward said. "I'm really glad she's working for us and not one of those other companies. We've a great relationship with Ashley for a long time and we felt it was good time to make her exclusive to JM."
At the AVN Awards in January, JM took home four Awards, including Best Continuing Series for the Girlvert line. Blue, who was nominated for nine Awards including Best New Starlet and Best Actress, took home two: the aforementioned Female Performer of the Year and Best All-Girl Sex Scene - Video for her role in The Violation of Jessica Darlin (JM) which she shared with six other performers. She is also XRCO's reigning Cream Dream winner.
Blue, who probably performed in as many scenes as any performer in 2003, says she's looking forward to spending less time in front of the camera.
"It might be good to have more to my life than just doing scenes with people I hate," Blue said in apparent jab at ex-boyfriend (and former performer) Trent Tesoro. "Now I'll have more time to have sex with [boyfriend] Jonni Darkko, and that's what I'm going to spend all my free time doing."
