Picking a location for this kind of thing is so trivial no way should it ever require a federal judge to decide. Ivor has it right - this is a public humiliation of both lawyers, saying that if they're going to act like two-year-olds then that's how the judge will treat them, but in no way is the federal court going to waste time on it...
