That sounds about right Phlogiston...No coincidence this is happening during an election year. The GOP is vulnerable right now, and trying to reach back out to old reliable to ensure they maintain power in the Congress. From a political standpoint, it's the smart move; the religious right has been the key to the GOP taking power from the Dems. It's bad for the country though.

I mentioned this earlier in the thread. Right-wing bible thumpers have too much power and looks like its going to get worse.
