Of course they're so desperate to keep people in the Military they just may let them get away with it.
Doubtful they'd let them get away with it, I worked in the US for 3 years in a Bi-National unit. I was working in the Porn industry at the time I was in the Canadian Military, and that was relatively risky. But most people knew and were mainly curious. And ours is a lot more liberal about peoples personal lives.
The US military is not. In my time there they discharged about 10 people. The US military is very invasive in thier peoples personal lives. Adultery is a chargeable offense in the US military under the UCMJ, and they do prosecute.
