Here's the deal. Some ugly incompetent bitch from San Francisco gets hired by my former company, and as an employee whose about to transfer to bigger and better things, I have to train her as my replacement. No big deal.
However, when I came into work today, I was pulled into my Boss' office. He told me there was good news and bad news. He immediately handed me two checks, one for the past pay period and one and a severance check for the upcoming pay period. I knew I'd been fired at that point, but his demeanor was quite friendly. I asked what happened, and he told me the ugly bitch had accused me of "crotch-staring".
On advice of his lawyers, I had to be let go despite testimony from all other coworkers I did nothing wrong and the fact the bitch has changed her story several times, and the Boss himself doesn't believe her. He has to protect his business, so I have to go, but I will still get a favorable reference form him and am eligible for re-hire down the road.
All is cool with my Boss and I and I'm financially unscathed, but I feel I should seek vengeance. What is my best option:

I'd normally agree, but most everyone I worked with there was cool. I was due to leave in mid-June anyways, but this was unexpected. I'll save my homicidal impulses for something important, like killing someone for driving the speed limit when they should be speeding.

It's a five-person business. There's nowhere to shuffle people around in our small office and the costs of battling phony sexual harassment lawsuits is prohibitive. These accusations are something women casually use to get men fired since fighting bullshit lawsuits is too expensive. It's cheaper to fire an innocent guy, in most cases at least.

Sexual Harassment is great, I love it. I personally know brilliant people and promising companies undone and flushed down the toilet because hormonally imbalanced and traumatized women cannot deal with their own sexuality....either that or, in many cases, the women are actually uber-calculating, smart whores who have figured out a way to financial independence that does not involve taking creep dick in all their holes.
It's all bullshit....Phlog, what you need to do is splurge for about a thousand and go to a strip club, find the one you want, and offer her the thou for the night. Don't pick a super pretty uber cunt, find a decent looking, somewhat raunchy, slightly older woman who probably has a kid...if she's drinking, order several shots before you make your move.
Then when you get her back to the House/Motel/Van, alternate between fucking the shit out of her and crying hysterically. WHen you are done, tell her you just lost your job and ask for 300 dollars back so you can eat this month. If she says no, cry some more, then hit her with the phone....

No, "stupid" question, and also totally uncalled for since this is phlog's thread and my post was on topic whereas your's is just another attempt to get in a cheap shot....
Yes I have actually had sex where I did not pay, but I freely admit that MOST of the time, I have paid an upfront fee. I have several "relationships" that are ongoing with women in the sex industry...but its a dumb question because in reality, every guy ends up "paying", albeit in different forms and terms. And if it were the case that I had never had sex without paying, my answer would still be the same because who the fuck would admit to that anyway?
Tell me the financial difference between having a steady girlfriend, who you take out to eat a couple times a week, go clubbing a couple times a week, buy the required amount of gifts and trinkets and other forms of tribute, whereby you are looking at a significant monthly expense, OR simply finding a whore you like and get along with and springing the needed $$$ for a planned rendezvous a 2-3 times a month? I've done the math, and until I meet a woman I can actually tolerate full time, and who can overcome her own insecurities and bullshit ideals of Physical Attraction and actually love me in spite of my physical situation, I will stick with what I am doing. I wont even broach the subject of the potential $$$ cost of Marriage....I have friends who are divorced who are paying MORE for a woman they CAN NO LONGER fuck than I spend in a year on whores. I just consider myself fortunate that I can afford to do this, unlike many other physically disabled but otherwise normal guys who cannot afford anything except porn to satisfy urges and enjoy what everyone else takes for granted.
Dont get me wrong, I have many women "friends" I do not pay for sex...in fact, I probably have too many...I am often used as a Male Version of a female "Best Friend", simply because women do not think of me right away in a sexual way so they feel safe telling me shit, so long as I never make a pass or make sexual innuendo. Thats reality, I have dealt with that since college. I am 38 and have had four serious, non paying relationships my entire life that lasted more than a year. Other than that, I fork out the $$$$ whenever my Gonads get too restless. Take Christie Lee for example....she and I were great pals, but she made it perfectly clear to me that that is ALL she could ever consider me as...which I readily accepted, mainly because, in her particular case, thats all I thought of her as or could ever think of her as...she just wasnt my cup of tea sexually, but she was a great chick to hang with and get drunk and be friends with....a lot of fun.
Its seemingly a cynical view of things, but not really; if nothing else the way I live my life is totally up front and honest with no games, bullshit or deception...I am not using these women except in the agreed upon terms and situations. My outlook on this topic is basically the same as most escorts and of these porn chicks who use sex as a means of $$$$$ and not an expression of love.

You nailed it. Everyone I work with has called me and told me they all think this is bullshit, and she might as well have leprosy as far as everyone is concerned. Nobody is getting near the bitch, and the fact she chose to scream "sexual harassment" when called to the carpet for her crappy work has already given her a very short lifespan at the office.
This is one of those things that is statistically very common, but causes your jaw to drop when it happens to you. It's a lot like the time my car was rear-ended and totalled by the unlicensed and uninsured illegal alien, but without the prospect of being viewed as a depraved pervert by uninformed strangers.

You are actually more right than you realize....whenever I had to Hire someone, I always seperated resumes by Gender, and called the male applicants first. I was discriminating even before I actually met the people...and I was not the only one...and it is especially acute in California because of the laws and the way the system is set up.
Gloria Allred anecdote: She actually represented a girl who worked in the shipping department of the company I used to work for back in the early 1990s...someone sent a computer message to the girl, who was actually very hott, saying he was happy the girl would be working "Under" him in the shipping department. The sexual innuendo was subtle but there...but that was it. Just that one message...but because the guy who sent it technically was the girls boss, and because the girl was attractive which lent additional credence to the case and her claims, SOMEHOW Gloria Allred's firm took her on and got a fast settlement for the girl, and the dude who sent it was fired.
That girl is now 31 and last I heard, a stripper in Houston  ...and No, I have not visited her yet

I have two female coworkers advocating my cause, so you are not alone in understanding this. Sadly the women that don't get it seem to get admitted to state bars and elected to national office in grossly disproportionate numbers.

****UPDATE**** It appears that the lying cunt couldn't handle even one day of isolation and disapproval from my coworkers that she brought upon herself with false allegations. She quit early this morning and won't be coming back. This afternoon, I got a call asking if I want my job back and I said yes. I re-start tuesday on the same terms as if nothing ever happened, and get to keep my severance check. The final score: Phlog versus Diseased San Francisco BitchEmployed ********** Unemployed Respected by coworkers ********** Reviled by everyone Pockets Severance money ********** No severance. Winner: Phlog!!!! According to the first poll, as of the writing of this post, I'll be keeping a brick in the trunk of my car should Gloria Allred cross my path. she's bullshit her generation really did take a lot of shit(hbs the first class women were admitted, spent the 80's trying to break ceilings) but the generation of bosses doing it are retired and every office today spends more training-time on sensitivity than a bomb-drill at a 50's school EVERYONE knows they're fucked if they do it.
sure, there are going to be some skeezebags who will do it anyhow, but they're obvious and their co-workers are going to sell them out. she's like-"the numbers say girls have been achieving higher than boys for decades, the battle's been fought, this is a waste of time, train them to use macros in excel and understand which files don't leave the office
there are still examples of sexual harassment out there--but are they the norm anymore? probably not. when there are 2 women filing bullshit claims for every one woman filing a LEGITIMATE one it's become a WEAPON/tool of LEVERAGE rather than protecting people.
i make it a point to never say anything as sexual as "you're looking nice today" around the office and my co-workers are usually older than i am or they're a voice i've never met somewhere. the admin. assistants love me, but i only talk to them when they've fucked-up something, so i only show them chico "fist-discipline".
at least you got your job back, you should have threatened to tell your boss you wanted a bonus on june 1 equal to your year-end one for not going over his head about the fact he wrongfully terminated you.

in most workplaces, employers must typically follow "progressive discipline", where they must keep a paper trail of them warning you about unacceptable behavior and the consequences if you continue. it varies from state to state, and there are usually recognized exceptions (eg committing a crime, gross negligence, etc). this protects them from frivolous claims of ignorance of a situation by the employee, and gives the employee leeway in the event of ambiguity or misunderstanding.
for something like this where a co-worker supposedly felt "uncomfortable", employers would almost always start by moving desks or work areas apart, advising each person to avoid contact with the other, etc. this is often difficult in small teams or small workplace offices, but it is the gesture that is important. i'm not a lawyer (and this is more HR policy than law anyways), and it does vary from region to region, but that's my HR experience in a nutshell.

I am telling the truth, Zenman.
"Progressive discipline" did come into play here, since Diseased San Francisco Bitch ("DSFB") has been slacking - going on myspace, doing her nails, etc - while on company time and had received numerous warnings not to do so. I am a clean and honest worker with a clean slate for the past year, plus I'm always within sight of at least two people so any perversion I might engage in would be readily apparent. It is clearly documented who is the good employee and who isn't. (All her transgressions were noted by the Boss, as mine had been when I slacked on occasion long ago.)
Ultimately, DSFB was "called to the carpet" to explain why she kept doing the stuff she was told not to do, so she threw out the accusations of sexual harassment. Some lawyers weighed the options and decided that getting rid of me was the strategic best move, since I am due to leave in mid June anyways and it would constitute proof that something was done in regards to the accusations.
The next day, the lawyers came and asked her to put her accusations in writing (which might compound the existing inconsistencies in her previous statements and open her up to further trouble) so she quit. I was re-offered my job and the rest is history.
