Considering how the world works- if there was a disease that made things better, the government would tax the shit out of you once you contracted this virus- or you'd probably end up getting mugged and killed. In the long run- it would end up being unfortunate contracting this disease.

Phlogiston: you have a very good point- however may I point out there is a rare condition known as diphallasparatus or literary double dick syndrome (yes 2 peni). Depending whether or not you think having 2 cocks is an advantage or disadvantage- this could either be the best disease out there or the worst freak condition you could be born with.

hmmm, Dr. Willie is on to something, a hypothesis I have pondered before, only it extends to a number of Addictions (which modern science/medicine classify as diseases).
Addiction is a fantastic motivator, in certain settings and within certain parameters. When you have a person who is so desperately in need of an actual, physical substance/chemical, to the point where their survival instincts and body are warped to perceive they will DIE without obtaining that substance/chemical, it is AMAZING the lengths (and effort) they will pursue to obtain it...seriously, otherwise LAZY, shiftless, clueless people can become almost superhuman, given the right conditions.
Look no further than porn...I mean, as hott as we may think some of these (in reality so-so) chicks are, it is really the "train wreck" syndrome at work....we stare in utter disbelief/amazement/arousal at the level of debauchery/degradation they will sink to in performing what we are now accustomed to seeing...in MANY cases, it is the artificial motivation supplied by the DISEASE of addiction that allows this. Hence, many of my METH rants are underhanded "odes" to the SHORT TERM benefits of that particular drug in the sexual depravity arena...
...of course, I have learned the HARD WAY myself, like NEVER bang on the bathroom door and startle a Heroin Addicted Escort who is trying to cook and shoot...you may end up with a bathroom wall(s) splattered with blood and spend the next 45 minutes trying to extract a needle because NEITHER of you wants (or can) go to the Emergency Room, albeit for completely different reasons...
