I had scrambled eggs w/ catsup and white toast on the coffee table in my living area before the television set. I prepared it all myself and had a glass of water with it. No interesting stories or insights to go along with the breakfast. On the television was playing a dvd of 'Catch-22' I'd gotten from the local library. I listened to Stephen Sodernsberg ask Mike Nichols questions on a commentary track over the imagery. At several points Mike Nichols remarks "We were crazy" when quizzed on some of the more indulgent aspects of the production, like shooting in only during 2-3 in the afternoon to achieve a consistantly backlit look to the motion picture.
