It was second hand, but Marlon Brando whispered it in the movie. That was wrong, I thought. He should've screamed it, right? That's how I envisioned it from the story. Crazed, gone native, abandon and all that. Nic Roeg did a movie version I didn't see with Malkovich playing Kurtz, but I can't imaginde Malkovich screaming anything. I'm going to remake 'Heart of Darkness', make it about a concerned family hired PI who's looking for Kahn Tusion, and at the climax "Kahn" will shriek "THE HORROR!! THE HORROR!! WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY?!!!!". I will cast James Spader as "Kahn" if I can get him. Shouldn'gt be ednoprmously differcult.
