This "Wankus" character intrigues me. Did he choose that name himself? How? Surely he must realise that he is a pathetic self-parody. Is that his intent?

Does he practice those stupid expressions in the mirror? I wonder if sometimes "Wankus" sees through his own facade, and his wife then finds him slumped in front of it, sobbing.
