It probably has something to do with th eprospect of being a knocked-up single mom with a bastard child. Watch an episode of Maury Povich and see what happens when these women have to DNA test an entire Marine batallion to find out who the father is.

This is also one of the few double standards that works in favor of men, so don't fuck it up. By my tally:

Women over men:

Hiring quotas, sexual harassment lawsuits, custody disputes, selective service registration, and a million other things.

Men over women:

Okay to be promiscuous.
