I just herniated a disc laughing so hard as I scrolled down...this thread by CAOH had the feeling of that elevator ride at the end of Angel Heart where Harry is descending to Hell. Except Mickey Rourke's harry Angel was not on the way down, but still the cinematic effect of this post was compelling.
