I'm not an economist so I may be way off base here but wouldn't taxing the oil companies be the last thing the President should do. The only thing that would result in is higher gas prices at the pump. The oil companies surely wouldn't let the higher taxes put a dent in their profits they would just pass it along to the consumer. How does raising taxes solve anything in this case? Our politicians, Dems in partiular, need to learn raising taxes isn't the answer to everything.

And anyone who sings the national anthem in spanish should be drop kicked back across the border.
