Late lunch/early dinner with my woman. Ate at a great Hunanese restaurant. Soup was a tureen of chicken stock flavored with bits of pork and bok choy. Marvelously fresh. Next was Chairman Mao's red-braised pork, General Tso's chicken, and Country Bumpkin chicken. The first two are easy enough to google. Country bumpkin chicken is charred pieces of chicken on the bone stir-fried with chilie pepperps and bell peppers and served in a sauce dominated by red chile infused cooking oil.
