falafel in a pita with french fries on the side. The falafel sandwich included sauerkraut. Ashkenazis playing with a classic. Not bad overall. Forgot the yamulka at home.

Cat food and mayonnaise on a piece of pre-cooked flatbread does not merit a description as "pizza", Alex, even if you got it at Olive Garden. Did they run a coupon special or something?
Edit: I now know this is one of Olive Garden's most-beloved appetizers/light meals. And it's got mozzarella cheese, Alfredo sauce, chicken (I was close with the cat food description), roasted bell pepper, garlic and basil as ingredients. Still, looks like a buck-and-a-quarter of ingredients sold to you for eight bucks. If you had a half-off or $3.00 off coupon ($3.95-$4.95 for the "pizza") you might not have gotten ripped off. But, Alex, hand to God — this is totally something you can and should be able to make for yourself.
Had Wendy's latest revolutionary hamburger product today: the bacon portobello mushroom burger on a brioche bun. It's a revised version of a product they've offered in the past but the delicious new brioche bun makes it revolutionary to me rather than evolutionary. This bun is even better than their runaway hit pretzel bun from earlier in the year. Go Wendy's!

Crawfish Tacklebox meal at Popeyes dollar fried chicken 4x dollar pizza slices
Was in the city today since 8:30AM [everyone was closed], so on my way back I stopped at the following dollar slice joints: Krust Pizzeria, Joey Pepperoni's Pizza, Joey Guacamole's Taco [$1 pizza], Mamani Pizza and Percy's Pizza.
Krust Pizzeria - the worst dollar slice from the places that I visited today. Ate only 3-4 bites and threw the rest at the thrash container at the end of the block. Barely any flavor to it. I can't believe that they charge extra $2.00 per topping on this tasteless pizza.
Joey Pepperoni's Pizza - best dollar slice from the places I visited today [it beats Percy's]. Great flavor [sauce, crust and good cheese] and was very pleased with this pizza. I will return here again. Threw out the edge-crust since I knew that I have to visit other places, but if only had to eat this slice only then I would eat the edge-crust too.
Joey Guacamole's Taco [$1 pizza] - above Krust but below Percy's. My slice was a bit overdone with a bit charred and dry crust. Sauce was okay but cheese was better. Overall, slightly above average pizza.
Mamani Pizza - I went in there and there was a woman with stroller before me taking her time with the order. I took a look at the pizza pie behind the glass and at the guy behind the counter and decided not to take my chance today; pizza looked like a dud [average no-name tasteless dollar slice] and the guy behind the counter did not look like spinning pies was his specialty. Will visit this place again in the future when I will feel more hungry than today.
Percy's Pizza - Takes 2nd place; behind Joey Pepperoni's Pizza. Very balanced crust-sauce-cheese ratio. Crust nicely thin and pleasantly crispy, but could have used a bit more flavor. Above average sauce, but not as good as Joey Pepperoni's Pizza had. Percy's slice was a bit on the salty side, but I overlooked this because of the overall balance of the ingredients. If the sauce was more flavor full then it could have beaten the Joey Pepperoni's Pizza.
Also, on my path, passed-by 3-4 2 Bros Pizza joints and Papa John's that had dollar slices. Did not stop there because I had 3 pizza slices [with pepperoni and mushrooms] last night, and just before I went to the Krust Pizzeria and other joints, I had the Crawfish Tackle Box meal at Popeyes [14th street] and dollar fried chicken at the 2 Bros Pizza joint that was close to the Marshall's/TJ Maxx building ["Anchor of the Avenue"].
I will post the photos later on on my blog [Greedy Jew] when I wake up [have not slept in 23 hours].
Ate the artichoke pizza at Artichoke Basille's. Did not liked it:
Paid $4.50 for a huge slice that looked around 12 or so inches and required 2 plates to hold it. Way too much white sauce and not enough artichokes: only 3 soggy artichoke pieces [2 of them were small]. Sauce was a bit over-salted and heavy in terms of fat. Crust near the edges was too dry. I ate a BBQ chicken slice at Joey's Pepperoni on my was to Artichoke, and could not finish the artichoke slice; a lot of sauce was just too much. As the guy behind the counter cut new pies and reheated my slice, the sauce was falling on the floor, and I took a look over the counter and there were bunch of white sauce dropping on the floor near the oven. It would be much better if the slices were with less of the sauce and more artichoke pieces, because this experience felt like I was sipping the sauce [cream soup?] than eating a slice of pizza. I prefer their frozen pizza than the pizzeria slice.
Artichoke Pizza on 14th st? That place sucks. Their pizza is basically just bread and I hate the "I'm in finance but I dress like a hipster" crowd. Bonus note: I prefer my finance guys to look like finance guys. They turn me on.

If it's a mile from you you'll probably get there around 3:30.
I got there and ate 2 of those happy hour rolls, the chicken and beef. Chicken was better than beef. Also ate 4x slices from dollar joints [Joey Pepperonis, 2 Bros, Papa Johns and Mamani]. I gotta go grab a can of Mountain Rapids now, then poop, then watch some porn and then take a nap.
I think it's more likely Alex's Thanksgiving feast contains pizza rolls, chinese food, along with some of the cheap scraps he buys at the Russian store stuffed inside a turkey, which is garnished with pepperoni.
I already pre-bought mashed potato powder, gravy and stuffing [that I will mix into the mashed potatoes] that I got on sale at Target and PathMark couple of weeks ago. I also bought frozen apple pie for $2.49 couple of days ago and I will probably get 10-piece wings at the Ghetto Fried Chicken [by the Marlboro projects] tomorrow.
Everything is closed [Ghetto Fried Chicken, KFC, Taco Bell and McDonald's], so I bought the lamb gyro from the street cart for $3.50 [the guy on the other end of the block had the same ones for $4.00]. And also 1 bottle of Walgreens' fruit punch flavor Happy Drink [6 bottles for $1.00]:
That's absolutely shit-tastic, as you planned it to be. And why you should be boxed for a year.
I wasn't going to cook this year, but the dumbass contractor who was hired to fix something else managed to knock out the heat. So I wound up cooking to keep the joint warm.

I was planning for it to be: -Ghetto Fried Chicken wings -Mashed potatoes, topped with Stove Top stuffing and Campbell's gravy -Cole slaw -Mrs. Smith's dutch apple pie
I've pretty much got everything except the cole slaw and the fried chicken wings. Thanksgiving is postponed until tomorrow. Gonna go and light-up the hanukkah candles:
If there's a God in his heaven, may he spread them candles all over and roast your fat ass. Happy Thanksgiving, Alex. You need to be boxed for a year.
I barely post here anymore [I began posting all the random crap to my twitter account [300+ twitts] and this board is already slow; barely a post or 2 during the daytime. Without me, this board will collapse even further.

Had a chicken souvlaki pita at a new chain restaurant that opened a few stores up here called The Pita Pit. The sandwich was expensive, but tasty and only 320 calories or so. The weird part about the experience was with the people working there. All college aged kids with lots of piercings and grungy clothing and tattoos and quirky eye glasses, etc.
They looked like Seattle street kids, but they all had overly friend attitudes and seemed like wholesome, good people. I felt like I was being served by a Christian rock band. Like how they'll try to look all hardcore but then sing songs about walking with Jesus. I'm starting to wonder it this place is part of some religious cult.

It's $8.75 for just the sandwich. It tasted better and had better quality ingredients than a McWrap from Mc D's, but it wasn't any more filling and a McWrap is only $5.

I would rather spend this money at Panera bread in Brooklyn. Cause its more money in Manhattan. Know what I mean?

I forget if I shared this elsewhere, but I went to Burger King the other day to get a Whopper Jr to tide me over until dinner. I saw the placard for the Angry Whopper and couldn't resist.
Flame broiled Whopper w/ Bacon, Jalapeños, PepperJack Cheese, pieces of Onion Ring and some friggin Spicy Angry Sauce. MMM MMM good. Spicy w/ slight after burn, which is easily extinguished w/ a sip of coke.

Move the fuck out of New York and all its boroughs if you're going to eat at chain restaurants. Just move to Kentucky or wherever if you're gonna eat that garbage.
