Today I had Lunch @ the Gaucho Grill Restaurant in Pasadena. Gaucho is a Portuguese term that means plains farmer but it probably has more in common with the Americana term Cowboy.
I went to Gaucho's with a couple of people from work; Jess from the ad department, thhky and a girl called Ruth from Costume Design. thhky is a trip. I think he's Japanese; I can't tell, neither can I understand him. He can hardly speak Engrish and has a serious lisp. I have no idea what he is doing here- he seems very indifferent to the everyday going-ons and because of this laissez faire attitude I have been pretty much ignoring him.
I ordered the Chicken Champignon which is skinless and boneless grilled breast of chicken with sauteed mushrooms on a white wine sauce, Served with mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini. Jess opted for a huge breaded Eye round steak or chicken breast, lightly fried, with tomato sauce, melted mozzarella, oregano.
Ruth and Thhhky both had steamed Tilapia Papillote with veggies, basil and olive oil. I didn't have time to get anything to drink so had to grab a water from the cafeteria at work. Boring fscking day today.
