Last night I made shrimp gumbo (with file, not okra) for dinner so the leftovers will serve as my LUNCH for today whilst watching football (Fox is re-showing the USC-UDaHo game called by my boy Petros). Plus today is my Father's birthday, so there's an obligatory trip to El Chorro Lodge in Paradise Valley.
Local Zonie folklore says that El Chorro was the watering hole for vacationers who came to the Camelback Inn on Lincoln & Tatum becasue the dude who started the hotel was a teetoaller. Last time we were there, we stood in line in front of Tom Berringer. Decent guy, he's still proud of Major League.
