Today we went to Sam's by the Beach just off Pacific Coast Highway for some traditional California basics. We selected a nice table on the side near the large front picture window. It took the gf about 12 minutes to make up her mind what she wanted to eat.

For a starter we got the Sam's Trio which is a sampler dish of hummus, taboule` and babaganouch with pita bread, then ordered the Grilled Butter Fish And Citrus Sauce, one of the best in the city. Both of us drank ice water with our meal.

We talked a lot about the "scene", the drop ass network and tonights plans.
