i went to the "international festival" in my hometown today, and ate a gyro (sadly, we actually pronounce it 'jy-row") and drank a $5 cup of lemonade. went with my bestest girlfriend, carrie, and her husband (just back from bahrain--he's in the navy) and our kids. saw an old fling-- he was the building sub in my high school, and taught my trig class for a month my senior year. we used to have quickies in the supply closet across the hall from class. he was there with his wife, who was kind of fat. which is funny.
