I lived in Vegas for a few years. Check out Kona Grill- best pan-Asian without pretension. 1/2 price drinks and appetizers from 7pm-9pm. The appetizers are huge. Get the PIZZA! And also The Wild Sage. They're both in Summerlin and near my old house. Remember Tre before it shut down in Boca Park? Amazing food and I loved the blue marble counter tops. For late night, do Carmine's off Durango/Desert Inn, esp if you're into caprese salads and vid poker. Best 24/7 crap food is Boodles Lounge off either Sahara or Charleston. Best french fries are at The Lodge on Hualapai/Charleston. Damn, looks like I never left Summerlin. Best 2 sushi joints for Vegas locals- Osaka and Sushi Fever.
