Best Pizza I've ever had outside New York is this joint on Haight Street called Escape from New York Pizza, run by an ex-cop from Brooklyn. Actually gave me a free slice when I told him my last job was managing a Pizzaria on Staten Island. Pretty Good, but you could tell the water made the difference. I don't think I ever had AZ pizza, but the last time I was there was over 25 years ago, when my parents were thinking of moving there.
