soopergrizz, that truely does sound like a magnificent lunch. Can you imagine today my girlfriend and I made Chapattis? I used to eat this bread when I visited Afrika to participate on cycle safaris. Usually I'd walk into little restaurants known as kiosks and request the kind sirs behind the register to serve me this delicious food. It's suggested that it comes from India, but this is false. The Indian bread is known as roti or nun. This chappti food I believe originates from the South Eastern part of Afrika which is inhabited by Swahili people. I know this because of how it is eaten, but I won't get into that right now...
I taught my girlfriend how to make chappatis a month ago and now shes pretty good. Let me remind the reader that chappatis are pretty difficult to make, unless one is skilled like the Swahili people.
While she made these breads, I made the stew.. a mixture of rice, beans, soup, potatoes, carrots, onions.. all the good stuff. I boiled this mixture and poured it into two bowls. We then scouped the stew into the chappati and feed. It was yummy... and we did it right.

I hit her with the hammer on top of the head. She made a lot of noise and kept on making noise, so I hit her again.
