Today I drove to Török Büfé in Santa Monica and had a döner kebab rokkz. The döner kebab is a Turkish rotating meat made with mutton but the rokkz is Hungarian.

Anyway- my döner came on a soft pita flat bread with grilled chicken, cheese, soured cream, tomato salsa, green chile salsa and a squeeze of lemon over the top. I washed this down with a Dreher (domestic Hungarian beer). It's rare to find Hungarian beer outside the country so I felt pretty lucky to get this.

I'm currently listening to a punk group known as The Germs. LaLa, my girlfriend's friend, used to be a former Punk and she put me onto them. She told me they were one of the first L.A. punk groups to hit the scene back in the very late 70s and I have to be honest, I hardly listen to this sort of music but i've been bumping these guys for the past 2 days non stop. Amazing!!
