I'm intrigued by the story. I can imagine seeing dead children is the hardest part for many reasons obvious.
I once took a course in toxicology where we spent a decent amount of time researching the human body to examine the cellular, biochemical and molecular processes underlying toxic responses. Everything imaginable. Even got to watch a autopsy from start to finish of a homeless man who apparently had a drug history of N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT) and Opiates died of overdose was beaten severely with burns to his lower torso so badly there was no hope.
That alone really got my stomach churning the first 20min or so but then later was no different than looking at surgery on tv focusing more on whats inside the body. That fact alone is what freaked me out. But was generally fine with it. I can't even imagine having to pull burnted up bodies and having to smell rotting flesh. Or having to hear the gasses release, its beyond me.
But I do know that a lot of times when I'm cutting up chicken or steak, especially chicken... the texture and smell (esp. organic chicken) really irks me the wrong way. It makes the back of my throat burn LOL
Okay no more dead body talk, sorry guys.
