From what I understand, spanish language stations had to tell everybody that if they wanted to be taken seriously they should leave their own countries' flags at home and bring American ones.

Yeah, no shit. However, it is important to realize that our government has dropped the ball on this issue for quite some time. Whether you're for los inmigrantes or not, this whole episode should hopefully get the ball rolling, as it were, toward finalizing some rational legislation on the matter. One would hope so anyways, but the ability of our current Executive and Legislative branches to get something right is far from a sure thing, but I won't digress into that mess.

That's been all over Spanish radio. The original marches included burnings of US flags and lots of waving Mexican ones. It's good PR, but the original marches were far more honest.
Hell, LA Cardinal Roger Mahoney went on a one day fast to demand amnesty for illegals. The idea of California's dominant electoral votes being in the hands of Mexicans (99% Roman Catholic) and perhaps Texas in a decade or so must give him an orgasm. That's control of the executive branch of the US Government! Say adios to the Separation of Church and State.

lol- I don't care what race they are, if they don't fit the aforementioned criteria they should be shown the door. Oh and I have happened upon a fourth criteria- you have to root for the USA in international sporting events, those found waving the flags of their birthplace when they are playing America are booted as well Come on Bush and others in Washington - how hard can it be to come to an agreemnent on immigration?
