Metaphorically representing sex as anything becomes more difficult when in the visual realm, sight is our most powerful sense and sex is such a fundamental part of human nature that subtlety of message is easily lost. This is the reason I dislike features and alt-porn. When you add more than just sex into your porn it becomes just a big waste of time and money.
