james, i'm with you 100% on that one. how doctors can just take the money knowing they're leaving there patient with even more psychological trauma then they came in to begin with is tragic.

i partly blame it on all the plastic surgery reality tv shows america seems to churn out. when people are drilled with the message that plastic surgery will fix their lives (how the show can say this with a straight face i have no idea) it's hard for the weak people in society to resist. anything that seems like a quick fix is infinitely more appealing to the fucked up than anything that will actually help them. it's a depressing fact.
