see, it isn't about subcultures... do i cross over with subcultures... yes. But i am myself on my own, my obsessions and curiosities are mine and mine alone. I have no preoccupation with being interesting, i don't find myself as such. I just have a love for certain things, I have a passion for certain eras... The zoot suit has nothing to do with a current subculture thing to me.. it is a love for a bygone era... when men were men, and dames were dames... same with the frock. I'll take that over what shlubs people have become nowdays.
