Bananarama was the most strokable trio in the history of girl groups. More than Spice Girls, more than anything. Their early stages with Really Saying Something to Cruel Summer and all the way to Venus had them in their prime. Oh man, the video for Venus really influenced my slut style. Tight long sleeve striped shirts on a wirey body...mmmmn. Sarah, the lead singer, was my favourite.
