As far as I know Ed DeRoo aka Loretta Sterling, along with his wife Linda, sold off his interests in Totally Tasteless Video and Hollywood Video sometimes in 02-03.
deRoo, who once produced the series Girls Who Puke, felt the pressure from the Bush administration, deciding to get out of the game.
He told AVN in 2001;
"I'm a little bit older; I've been in the business a long time, and I know what it is to be prosecuted and to be put under the thumb of the government, to be downtrodden, be considered a second-class citizen by most people. I feel as if these times are coming back again."
deRoom turned up at Bruce Seven's funeral and also recently appeared in the Real Sex special, Going Down In The Valley. He was also active in Ed Wedelstedt's 'Eddie Kids' charity raising money to provide kids with tickets to professional sporting events, until the DOJ hit Wedelstedt with a 23-count indictment.
DeRoo stopped directing in 2003, finishing off with Love Chunks 16, 17 and 18, and Xtreme Erotica, but works behind the scenes producing former actor turned director Jim Legman's Lassies series.
