How long does it take to shoot a scene?

How long would it take to shoot a "standard" gonzo scene? How many scenes could be shot in a day for a "decent" quality video?
Are blowjob only or POV scenes any faster or quicker to shoot?

Three or four hours. A half hour or so to load in, and hour of hair and make up/set lighting, an hour on set with talent, and add one hour minimum for contingency. Add several hours for problems: talent delays, talent issues, location issues, etc.
If all goes well and the stars align just right, you can shoot four gonzo scenes a day. That is pretty rare though, two or three is more likely.
POV bj's are obviously much less time, and you can knock them out before or after the sex scenes. You should still budget an extra hour for each one though.

The scenes take as long as you are willing to spend dollars for or as long as your performers are REALLY able to perform. Real performers can pull it off in a short amount of time because they get you the specific stuff you need and go home. Other times an actress will only put out as much as her agent tells her to or she will expect more money. They are basically no fun and don't appear to like sex enough to be in it for the pleasure. But there are plenty out there like them. It's a business, and not quite as much fun as it use to be.

Thank you for Christian for explaining what type of content I shoot before I could. I don't get a chance to check this site more than once a day and am just reading what people posted.
I have filmed everywhere including Tallin, Estonia, NYC, DC, LA, Las Vegas, London, Miami, Prague, Amsterdam, Boston, Baltimore, Budapest etc...
Most of the content I shoot is reality amateur porn and yes It is real people having unsubscripted sex, it would be next to impossible to have them the posed or try and shoot like we do when I am Brittany's studio in LA.

Well said. But we know money and men drive the business, which often makes for some real mechanical yawners for scenes. And I don't think I have ever been to a shoot where anyone actually cared enough about the quality of the content to 'prep' the performers or set things up so they work well together. I wish I saw more of that.
