I know the rates that Dave pays and they are very fair (more then what is stated by truthaboutporn) , especially since the talent is treated like gold, there is no bait and switch, you are paid right then and there and it is very easy work. Instead of waiting around a set all day long for your scene when your call time was 4 hours ago, you will be in and out on time. I've been on Dave's sets and a boygirl scene of vag penetration took less then an hour to shoot, and the girl didn't break a sweat. If I was EVER going to do a scene ( not that anyone would want to see it, lol), Dave would be my go to guy, and he knows it! xoxo, Cindi

....and my point was that if you're on a shoe string budget, the DC school of porn may not be the best option...that's it, nothing more.

I met Dave at AEE two years ago, had some email back and forth and then sat down with him and my business partner for two hours. And he was pretty flexible with his hourly rate. I've always found him very helpful, not one to give overly optomistic/bullshit advice and also careful about talking shit about anyone. From what I know from my experience and have heard from others, the industry would be way ahead if everyone conducted their business as straight as Dave does his.

DAVE IS A ROLE model for anyone wanting to start a movie company, and also a guiding force on how to treat women in the adult business. He is a true gentleman, and a smart one at that. Any advice you pay for from Dave will save you that amount in the long run. NO ONE makes movies as efficiently as Dave does. And if you are lucky enough to meet Dave in person, he is a brilliant, positive person, always smiling. It is rare to meet such a caring open friendly person, especially one that is recognised in public, slightly famous and has no, repeat NO ego what so ever.
