There are a lot of players who don't like what Bonds* and friends do with drugs because they are then faced with the choice of losing their jobs or taking drugs too. Bonds* may not care but a lot of guys want to survive to retirement, walk away from the game, see their grandchildren, etc. If Bonds* gets away with it then they might not be able to do those things as a baseball player.

PS. The asterisk doesn't mean anything in particular here I just don't write Bonds*'s name without one any more.
