I was watching a show on tv recently... hell, I'll just say it. I was watching American Idol. I'm not embarassed to admit I have a sweet-tooth for that crap- but I was watching it. Anyway- they had these auditions where a ton of girls came and they performed then the judges tell them whether they can go to the Kodak Theatre and get judged by America.
Now, after singing, they'd ask the girls to go upstairs and where they're fate would be unravelled.
Two girls walked into the room and sat down infront of the three judeges. They began to explain that it was a difficult decision to make but... turning to one girl said they were sorry that she hadn't made it. Quickly the other girl was told that she was the winner, or rather she had beaten the other girl and could advance to the next stage. She was very excited and started to celebrate. The judges clapped for her and offered their congratulations. Suddenly, after coming to their senses, they remembered the other girl who at this point was still somewhat dumbfounded by this heartbreaking news. She was starring blankly ahead. The other girl quickly hugged her whilst the judges said both girls had sung well and were both winners.
As the girls walked off I noticed the two girls were holding hands-in support of one another and to compliment each others singing- yet I found myself not believing the last statement by the judge who said they were both winners. How could this be? One girls dreams and hopes had gone down the tubes while anothers prayers had been answered. I found myself going through this over and over in my head- so much so that my girlfriend has threatend to kill me if I mention this story to her again. I've vertually discussed this story with almost everyone I know.

Anyway.. thats all I wanted to say about that.

I hit her with the hammer on top of the head. She made a lot of noise and kept on making noise, so I hit her again.
