The Dodgers LOST both games 1 (drysdale) and 2 (koufax) so the bullshit strategy was rendered moot, but the dodgers came back and won the series in 7, with Koufax pitching a shutout in game 7, and making his "devotion" to his faith seemingly rewarded and justified....it was bullshit, and a precursor to the 1967 Arab-Israeli 'conflict' being justified because Israel 'won'....
