Personally, I cannot say, for I have yet to see a single MASON movie. I think I should get some so I can decide for myself how I feel about this issue. I can say that I found it odd that she never thanked ANDRE MADNESS for winning an award, when he helped to get her the deal at Elegant Angel, and that her refusal to show her face and be part of porn is striking to me, considering that she gratefully accepts the awards that AVN hand her. Speaking of Elegant Angel, I hear that Patrick has either sold the distribution outright to Devil's Films or is using them from now on. As of March 1st, the Elegant Angel doors will close...FOREVER!!! ...or so I am told. Where will this leave Zupko? I hear he is shooting a new movie and is in preparation as we speak.

I talked with Glen Baby and Bob G yesterday about Zupko. They both like him quite a bit. They say he is a really great guy and intellegent and funny. Both admit when pressed that his work is different and odd and Bob admitted that it seemed at times a little less than pornographic. I said that a common misnomer that people made was to assume that Zupko was a pornographer, something I had persuaded Mike Ramone and Slain Wayne of at AEE. I said he was in fact a transgressive artist, a title which I thought held far more cultural value and significance than a mere smut maker. I further argued that if you were view him as a transgressive artist, " piss Christ, piss porn," Bob said, than his work arguably had value, but that as a pornographer, his work, while intellectual, lacked the definitive value of truly prurient content requisite to be called erotic.

I also heard that the raging gonhorreah that went around after the Expo is still lingering and that it cost a lot of girls a lot of work. If you are talent be sure to go to AIM and have your STD test done and be sure to check those tests on set with one another. It is entirely YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make sure that those tests are conclusive and negative. You have been warned. Don't be a superspreader...Look it up.

Oh - Elegant Angel is still in business?

Elegant has just barely been on the radar screen for some time. They've been releasing a couple of new releases a month, but mostly comps, Brazilian videos (female and ts), and videos that may have been bought from others.

I think it might not hurt the people remaining to go somewhere else a little more consistently run. Elegant used to product some of the best stuff around but that was years ago.

Who is still exclusively at Elegant besides Zupko? Is Roxanne Hall still there?

They are downsizing and moving to a office space only building in March.I know this to be true because I was considering renting their building.
