Flaking happens with any job - usually the low paid ones but I think especially with porn because of a combination of things which may include:

- I think most girls are naturally unpredictable
- Porn probably doesn't feel like a regular job
- There might be a lack of respect in that girls feel porn producers don't really respect them and are exploiting them to make money for themselves
- Porn might not be a career that your family supports you in; girls may be in two minds about what they are doing
- A lot of girls are young and probably immature and porn is their first job

Maybe the age at which you can enter the porn industry should be raised? It certainly seems weird that you can't drink or view porn until you're 21 ( I think i've seen this warning on some videos? ) yet girls can make porn from 18 years of age
