VHS may not be dead but it is dying, shrinking... however, I think some companies that don't release the VHS & DVD at the same time are later losing out on DVD sales because the "newness" has worn off by the time the DVD comes out. For instance, I woulda bought Mary Carey Rules 2 when it came out had it been available on DVD, once it was out on DVD I wasn't interested anymore.
