Urtication: Use of leaves with nettles (e.g. fern leaves) for arousal. Apparently it produces a reddened, sensitive feeling where they are struck/rubbed whatever. "Men who wear condoms have found that briefly applying nettles to the penis before putting on the condom can compensate for the sensation lost by the latex barrier."

Marduk has urticating hairs that he throws on me whenever he gets angry (which is always cuz he's a fuckin bird eating tarantula). the hairs themselves are dark red and when i had JFK (RIP- my old one who got eaten from the inside out by a parasite) i used to show up to class with a rash all over my arms and sometimes my neck and face from fucking with him when i was drunk and when concerned old guys in logic would ask what it was i'd tell them it was scabies.

here's a picture of one that is similar to mine, the hairs are on his abdomen.

anyway i'll make him angry and rub some hairs on my vag and we'll see what happens.

They are urticating bristles. Spiders don't grow hair. Only new world species of tarantula possess urticating bristles so if you have developed a significant sensitivity to the urticating bristles which tends to get worse with frequent exposure you can try keeping old world species instead although its a trade off since the old world species are generally much more "defensive" in nature. If you are keeping T. blondi which is the tarantula you have pictured it possesses Type IV urticating bristles which are considered by many people to be the most irritating type.
