Bertolt Brecht was a German playwright in the early 1900s. He wrote The Threepenny Opera in the 1920s. It's the opposite of funny...Brecht is one of the forerunners of the "theater of the absurd," kind of like NSA code blue is the opposite of NSA code red. His own life was kind of fucked up, too.
