I declined all scene bookings months ago and retired. I now make money through shooting for AVN, running Select Model Group, and feature dancing. My income isn't as high (yet) as when I was performing, but I don't have to dip into my nest egg that I earned and saved from porn.
I'm very proud of what I accomplished over the past 2.5 years and will always look back on it fondly. I never wanted the novelty to wear off. I never wanted to lose my sense of wonder, so I decided to quit before that ever happened. The adult industry is amazing and I will always defend it.
It is expected to change careers an average of 7 times per lifetime. Finally, I have the time and freedom to pursue the other opportunities offered to me towards my exodus from porn. They are just as exciting as performing, only different.
Btw, I think porn retirement announcements are gay. This is not one.
