aww take it with a grain of salt...Frank & Bride are not scary, but they are what i feel some of the best.

Jaws & Psycho, I guess would lean more to the "Thriller" side of things but they scared me the most, when i was a kid...and i can still appreciate them.

side note: I actually met Caroline Munro of Maniac. I already had a thing for her from her Hammer Movies "Captain Kronos - Vampire Hunter" & "Dracula A.D. 1972". Even now she is still pretty hot.
