This is really an unfair and one-sided portrayal of the entire Methamphetamine experience. To show a person's photo, and then post another less flattering picture labeled "3-1/2 years later" with the implication being that Meth is the cause of all this person's misfortune, is disingenuous and serves to Demonize a substance which does have it's plus side...
How come they aren't showing any pictures labeled "During the first 4 to 6 months of Meth Use..."? You know why? Because we would see Truly happy, ecstatic people...dancing wildly on the beach, fucking maniacly in every room of the house and in all manner of vehicles and even public restrooms. It's not an accurate picture of this drug...The Aphrodisiac effects of Meth are a crucial aspect of why this drug needs to receive a fairer treatement and evaluation...
SHOW A PICTURE of a 19 year old hottie after her third hit of meth... Hell film it! Film her having that 6 hour meth-enhanced sexual marathon with the 3 college guys who live next door. THEN, and only then, when she hits skid row 2-3 years later, people can TRULY make an informed choice about whether Methamphetamine is right for them...By Juxtaposing the sheer ecstasy those first few months of Meth Use offer with the YEARS of decline and squalor that follow after the drug burns out the receptors in your brain, A young lady or man can decide if its worth it.
I will bet that, with a more honest discussion about the benefits and harms of Meth, that some adventurous people will INDEED STILL choose to enjoy and experience the short term pleasure, that wonderful 6 months, and deal with the figurative ETERNITY that follows. Just ask Harry Angel....
