I think an even easier way to make the sessions run smoother would be if people actually used them.
The Ashley session acted more like a chance for old friends to catch up on things because hardly anyone really chats so it was almost a new experience for some.
If there were more chats regularly, people would get used to the whole idea and when a whore came to chat, people would be a little more used to the whole process.
Moderating the chat more than it already is would make things worse. Either your running questions through a bot which then kills the definition of "chat" or your putting your hand up and waiting to be picked to ask your question a-la high school.

Either way, theres a cat in my toilet...
