Yeah, pretty much manufactured tweenie girlie pop. Though the girls had been singing for a long time, so can actually sing. They got like a big 4 record deal straight up, which was quite suprising.

You might know the track "4eva". It has a couple of great hooks in it. And some of the harmonisation and call and answer stuff is pretty good.

But disposable pop.

Nothing like the Donnas, who if I'm not mistaken are a bit punkier. Though they [the porducers / session musos] try very hard on the 4eva track to do jagged riffy guitar.

Have a listen to the foreva [I forget how they spell it] track though. Its annoyingly catchy in an Avril Lavigne / Brittney Spears fashion.
