I've heard this many times, but I can't confirm it. I've got three AVN awards so far and many more at shows in Brussels, Barcelona, Berlin, Belgrade, Los Angeles (XRCO) and a web site (search extreme) without spending any money or even attending the show.
These awards are nice to get, but they don't change anything in my personal live or my career. And of course they are very subjective. If I would have been asked I would have given the "Male Foreign Performer of the Year" to Toni Ribas or David Perry.
I'm verry happy for my friend Manuel Ferrara and sad for Erik Everhard. I really think it's time for AVN to acknowledge his outstanding performance.
