and taking a swig from the 40 oz Foster's Lager Can and
No Australian actually drinks Fosters. Just sayin'.
Its their version of Old Milwaukee. Aussies drink Victoria Bitter, if I'm not mistaken.
Holly, it sounds like you are looking for hook-ups. I'm free between 9pm to 11pm
Yup, VB, good stuff, can NOT be found here in the states sadly.
I like beer probably more than porn, so forgive the OT.
VB is not good stuff! Passable at best. Is better than Foster's however.
Plenty of better aussie beers than VB. And mostly Victorians drink VB [or Carlton]. Each state has a different "state" beer. NSW tooheys, Queensland XXXX, West Aus Swan, SA Coopers etc.
Ironically I've been drinking a lot of North American beer of late, Millers, Budweiser, Corona. Very easy to drink. They've just put Sol a mexican beer on the market here. Bit wary of that one.
Though American beer is always really pissy and gassy, and by 3 you feel like your stomach and bladder are going to explode. Good in hot weather though, those heavy Euro beers don't go as well with BBQ and drinking in 100++F degrees.
Because they are so watery and clear drinking large quantities leads to lesser hangovers.
Beer is cool.
Nicely summed up.
VB is cheap beer that young men, when first starting to drink, can afford. However, once one has some money, you don't really drink VB anymore, unless you're trying to put up some blue-collar front. I used to drink VB all the time, but now I'll only have it at a pub when it's on tap.
The other cheap Australian beers, that are actually alright, are Carlton Draught (good on tap, shitty otherwise), Boags Draught (not available on tap here in Victoria yet ) and Coopers, which is actually really nice.
Then you have the premium Aussie beers, such as Cascade, which is passable, and Boag's Premium, which is awesome. However, most people seem to prefer to drink imported beer such as Stella, Becks, Asahi, etc etc. I've never seen someone drink a US beer here. Ever. But that's because, to beer drinking countries like Australia, US beer has a terrible reputation. Still, when I travel America I'll drink US beer and I'm sure I'll like it.
And I've never seen a Fosters in a bottle shop here, ever. I don't think it's sold in Australia at all. Like the crocodile hunter, nicole kidman and mel gibson, it's another misrepresentation of Australia.
Nice pics TunaCan by the way. All this beer talk makes me want to crack one open and sit in front of the cricket...

Australia's like anywhere else, you have your shit beer and your good beer. I don't like VB but I can handle it if there's nothing else. Fosters is like cat piss, so is XXXX. I drink Carlton Cold, best full strength buy for $30 a carton.

Each to their own. I prefer Boags Premium or Crown Lager, but the $$$......The way I drink I can's afford $50+ cartons.
