Nobody presses their own DVD discs, not even large Hollywood studios. The process is far too expensive and specialized for low volume.

I would bet that anyone still recording their own VHS tapes is looking to get out of that business. You don't want to have to write off the cost of the equipment as the shipments of tapes falls off the cliff. And if you're a Vietnamese girl in Jeff's closet running those machines you'd better be looking for something else useful to do...
