I had a long 2 part flight on xmas eve. The flight is packed and I have a mom and her shrieking kid next to me all the way home. The first leg is 4 hours and not too bad, but the second leg is about 12 hours and I know there is no way I will be able to handle the kid squawking all night. I take a Nyquil liqicap cut the tip off and stir half of it into the kids drink while the kid and mom are in the lavatory. The kid sleeps nearly the entire second leg. Needless to say so do I. Was this a bad thing? Should I feel guilty or bad? Was I just doing a service for myself and the passengers in the immediate area? Why do they let kids into business class anyway?
